The Parkersburg Choral Society (PCS) is a long-standing community organization based in Parkersburg, WV.  Directed by Luke Zyla, a long-time educator and musician, the group provides an outlet for singers with rudimentary music reading skills and choir experience to perform choral music.  The ensemble is known for its blend of passion, professionalism, and a strong sense of community, often described by members as a "family."

 

PCS comprises of a diverse group of singers, with some members having participated for over 50 years.  Our longest-serving member, Don Hainkel, joined in 1974.  Our younger members provide fresh energy and new ideas.  

 

PCS serves not only as a musical ensemble, but also as a vital social network for our members, fostering lifelong friendships and community engagement in the Mid-Ohio Valley.
